Inglourious Basterds
So today i went out with my dearest homies jess and cyn =).
Throughout the whole day my throat was absolutely killing me! but because of the lovely company of my friends i ignored it =) yay!
So i caught the train with jess first and had agreed to meet in the 2nd carriage. Unfortunately when i meant 2nd carriage i meant 2nd carriage, jess however thought second last carriage so we were on opposite ends. We decided to call a truce both walk towards the middle and ended up in the 4th/5th carriage.
anyways we met up with cyn and ate lunch first at a pho place in world square, jess previously said that it seemed empty but when we arrived it was rather full! and we were lucky to get seats because after we came a couple came in and couldn't find seats =O
and omg the pho place was actually really really really nice! which was a shock because most pho places in the city are rather average and its only when u go into the inner suburbs you find magnificent pho! unfortunately i can't remember the name of this shop in world square ... but will go there again!
Afterwards we headed in the direction of bread top to buy snacks and random stuff to eat during the movie (inglourious basterds). Anyways we found this awesome place that sells mochi balls! and omg they were so nice and cute.

durin the time of this taking jess was busy having "couple time" with ace which we accidently saw and felt rather awkward ahahah! we thought they were outside the cinema but turns out they were not! so when we walked towards our lovely designated seats we saw them and tried to run away, thus looking like idiots.
Anyways when we finished the film it was already almsot 6 so decided to go home. Oh and the film was very graphic, which i guess is expected considering its a quentin tarentino film but anyways still quite good =)
ON OTHER UNRELATED NEWS.
I have received my polaroid camera that i bought off ebay about a week ago! =D YAY

jap restaurant, self bumming and mok’s 21st
So on friday i went out with cyn to visit this jap restaurant who apparently has fantastic tonkotsu ramen!
and omg i have never had such a thick soup before in my life! it was like sauce. There was also a reallly strong, real pork flavour to it which was a bit overwhelming for me but i'm sure for most people i know, they would love it!
eggggs! for cyn =) the noodles were also really nice and chewy, it had a very professionally hand made feel to them =)
Then afterwards i had to get my dear piccolo fixed at northbridge! yes so super far away! i was like WHHAT? but i found some really good photoshooting sights upon going there. I mean check out this awesome bridge!

Afterwards fixing the piccolo it was still early so i bummed around and found random things to photograph

Saturday was Mok's 21st bday party
me and lil got him a bun =) loook at the unknowing mok! so proud about the bun that resembles him! his tastebuds tingling with chocolatey excitment!
he was so enthusiastic about his tasty present he decided to take a massive bite out of it!
unfortunately taking a massive bite was of no advantage to him! because the bun was fake! hahaha and now look @ his face upon the realization that .. hold on this bun doesn't not taste like yummy chocolatey goodness but like some sort of plastic squishy ball? and eww?

First Wedding!
Hey guys!
On saturday i did my first wedding shoot =O! it was so exciting!!
It was the wedding of Angela and Jason =)!
I didn't know them at all but they were really nice! and so cute together!
the bridesmaids were also hilariously fun to talk to! hahas
and on my way there i came across the most randomest piece of graffiti!
Clifford was the one who invited me to take photos of the wedding with him and he had two cameras with him, so it looked like an ultimate camera fest!
Whilst at the hotel in brighton le sands i saw this shiny new mercedes convertible

Moo Cards, Japanese restaurants and uni.
I've been meaning to update more by taking photos basically everyday but i haven't been able to due to time constraints and also resizing the massive photos haahas
But never fear! i have found me some blogging time!
The other day i received my moo cards! which is basically business cards. And you can personalise them and such using photos from your own portfolio =)

Anyways i bought a pack of 100 mini cards. Because well thats the least they came in =)
and wooot they are so awesome! even the plastic case they come in is cool
The cards are very small though so i had to crop all of my pictures, but i think next time i'm going to get the bigger size, the normal sized ones =)
Anyways as i said i do have 100 of them sooo ... if anyone wants one =) i'll give you one hahaha and u can contact me for your photographic needs! wooots
Yesterday i went to a jap restaurant near town hall, i have just forgotten the name of it =.= soo if anyone would be so kind to remind me because it was a nice place.
I went with jess and cyn yay =) we were meant to go last week but jess had to dog due to the evils of uni =.= blergh
the place was small and we were the first people in there ... then in 20 minutes the whole place was full of people! sooo we knew it was a good place to eat =)
i had chicken karage curry ... something like that ... it was reallly nice and omg so generous with the chicken
Cyn had some avocado salmon sushi thing o_O? ahhaha and it had a ball of wasabi on the side which i was really amused about ... she said it was nice LOL =D YAY
Then i think jess had salmon udon? or something but yes im gonna assume thats nice too because im an assumer =)

and cool star vegetables!! =D
Then after our filling meal we did some light shopping =) and bought some tops ... then jess had to go to uni .. because uni is gay. While cyn and i continued our shopping!
I think the longest we spent was at the graniph store looking at funky tshirts and i swear those people must get tired of their jobs. All they do is walk around folding the shirts people have touched! and while waiting for cyn in the changeroom i observed the guy folding the shirts and omg he had soooo much white hair and he wasn't even old! The shop is very silent except for clothes folding noises =.=. Anyways we bought awesome tshirts =)

Yanny's 20th Birthday Party
HELLO HOMIES!
so on saturday night was yannys 20th birthday (party)
it began with almost everyone being late due to traffic/waiting for late people/jasmine choi
LOL!
But then everyone arrived and all was good, including the birthday girl YAY YANNY!
but then the food took forever ...
But really that just gave us more time to take random luvos and for NEW couples to have cute time together ahem ahem *cough* kylie *cough* jess
Then yanny decided to open her presents!
and first she got this heart chain bracelet from jennifer yipyip, belinda and tk! its really cute and heartsy
Then she opened her other present! from .... okay i was going to saw who but its a super long list ... basically from her lovely group =)
Yerp and being fantastic friends we got her a camera!! which is slim and awesome and totally sexy like yanny on saturday night omg!
Also lil gave a special self present .... she bought yanny a birthday cake! which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! because cake is the awesomeness especially from 85degrees.
I didn't get a photo of yanny in her dress but it was complete hotness *drools* and apparently she kept getting hit on while clubbing which is totally understandable!
Then finally a whole bunch of food came all at once ... okay slowly at once. LOL
(this is a very boring recount but its very hard to recount fun times if its just fun just because your surrounded by fantastic friends =))
Anyways basically it was an awesome fun night and yanny has to admitt she has the awesomest bunch of friends and an awesome camera too now =) and it was just AWEEEESUM. Except maybe getting older but meh yanny is wrinkleless!

wow my life is boring
all i've been blogging about is uni and i have yet another post about ... uni! this is sad =(
yesterday i had my full 7 hour no break day of uni! from 11am-6pm! Basically when i finished it was all dark and full of evening students.
However my class that goes till 6pm is totally worth it! its such an interesting subject because the lecturer/tutor/guy uses his interesting experiences in his field of work to explain certain terms and such. Which i believe helps me better understand.
Also ending at 6 i was able to see that the new building lights up blue at night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was amazed. my face was =O like i'd just arrived at a carnival and was staring at a rollercoaster or something. Anyways it lights up the other building opposite it! so that it has a blue glow. And the building opposite the new building is new aswell, just not as new as the new building. If that made any sense. Anyways i couldn't get a photo of the glow because i didn't want to stand in the footpath like a loser blocking everyone. Because theres still construction happening on the new building so theres not a fat lot of space to walk with.
I love how new and shiney everything is. !
One of the lecturers/tutor/guy i had yesterday seemed reallly stoned in last weeks lecture/tutor. He was so out of it and stumbled over simple words, usually repeating half the word about 3 times then finally completing the full word. He was also all sweaty and was red under the eyes but then again he could've been tired and unprepared which seemed to be the case. This week he was much more prepared and i learned quite a fair bit until he started to over explain things by explaining the same thign about 5 times in different ways just to fill in that two hour tutorial! I HATE TWO HOUR TUTORIALS!

As shocking as it is
uni is taking over my life faster than expected.
I must also point out that yesterday i didn't take my camera out because i felt nothing photographically fantastic happened so i decided to leave it at home. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. Okay so it could've been worse but ...
Yesterday i was maybe about 1km or even closer away from the epic fire that was occuring near silverwater road. We saw it from many fantastic angles on the M4 but alas i didn't have my camera and i was also driving ... but still! Then there was a shooting in the inner west and whilst on parramatta road the bulletproof police car (which looks like a baby tank) went right past our car! actually it stopped right next to our car because there was traffic blocking it BUT OMG THE OPPORTUNITY! it made my heart ache for my camera! then we saw a 3-4 car pileup on the M4 whilst going back home! So it became a massive day of photographic opportunities and and i didn't have my camera .. *BIG MASSIVE SIGH*
I will never go out without the camera again!
On a brighter note .... actually there is none.
Today was the beginning on week 2! which is really fast because week 1 just felt like yesterday and this means that assignments and such a due so much closer now!

They also seem to always have technical difficulties but then again the tutor was usin a mac and the other tutor ... well i presume technology just hates her because they always malfunction on her !
hmm 11.59 ... time to go! EXIT EXIT! ahha
i do love the new clocks in the new building though! so much more acccurate and also lecturers/tutors don't have to ask what the time is if they are unsure of its accuracy or forget their watch !

enter: semester two
Yesterday was the first day back at uni for semester two ... and after that first day i can honestly conclude that i was not looking forward to it, uni is still boring, workloads increase proportionally to the closer you get to graduation. When i first started uni my assignments were all due in about week 10 then as uni progressed and old semesters ended while new ones arose they became 7 weeks then 6 and now my assignments are all due in week 5. Obviously university thinks that the older you get the less life you have and more time you have for uni work. Wrong.
But that is uni life and you just gotta deal with it! suck it up!
So for my first class of the semester ... i was in a room with about 30 people and those 30 people and i waited about 30 minutes for the lecturer to arrive. Alas he did not arrive and we found out that everyone else was in another room. It turns out the lecturer and the rest of the class had failed to re-check their rooms. Due to an influx of enrolments into the unit the room was changed to accomodate for more students BUT the lecturer failed to do so and when we arrived at the other room half of us had to sit on the ground. I SHOULD POINT OUT THAT after an hour of sitting on the ground my butt was no longer a butt it felt like it had grown accustomed to the flatness of the floor and was now a chopping board.
Anyways the lecturer was not only boring but slightly racist. He was asking students what their idea of a "career" was. Yes he is one of those lecturers you wish to avoid, those evil ones that point to random unprepared people out of the blue! So after pointing to three unsuspecting students (also victims) and gaining their opinions of "careers" he points to an asian student and goes "and what is YOUR idea of career?" (POINTS TO STUDENT, ALMOST STABBING HER IN THE EYE WITH HIS GOLEM HAND) then he proceeds to say "and i don't mean K-O-R-E-A" no one laughed. It was very rude of him to say that. After about 3 students who have answered the question im pretty sure this asian student knew he meant "CAREER" not "KOREA" and the fact he specifically did it to an asian student. Who was actually chinese. This lecturer thinks he is absolutely hilarious! and tried many lame jokes which in the end received no reactions. Epic fail.
Next up i had the lecturer and tutor i had in my previous semester.
Honestly when i foudn out i had this lecturer/ tutor for another semester i was not only crushed by very dissapointed. This tutor seemed to not understand variou words or their meanings and thus in your essays would cross off certain words and replace them with ones she thought were more suitable. That is all very well however the words usually have the same meaning. Or are in a different context to the context you actually meant. So i'm not looking forward to my marks for this semester for that unit.
After all that we bought uni books! the part of uni that makes you poor.
The worst part is i have to buy more later in the week! meaning i'm going to be ridiculously povo. You'll see me scavenging around uni bins for food. I'm just kidding, thats kind of gross. =S
So after my first day back ... theres nothing to look forward to. I got home i was poor, tired, hungry and had a lot of reading to do!
but on an unrelated note ... i'm having loads of fun with my polaroid now because i've got FILM FOR IT!!!!!!!! =D
Now its back to work =.=
